Some time ago my wife, Terry (her blog) gave me a great gift that has kept on giving…She gave me the book Intimacy with the Almighty by Chuck Swindoll. It started me on a journey to deepen my walk with God, which continues to this very day. Here are a few thoughts from my journal…
Am I among the deep people? God reserves the deep things for those whose hearts are completely His…for those who take time to wait before Him.

Paul counted all his accomplishments as rubbish compared to knowing Christ. Do I value my accomplishments more than intimacy with Christ?
