Leader Impact 5: Predictions for 2013


2013_sparklersI have compiled a list of some of the best blogs on predictions and trends for 2013 in the five topics I write about:  Live Well, Love Deeply, Learn Continuously, Lead Courageously and Leave a Legacy.  So, without further ado and  sparkler fanfare, here we go…

Live Well:

Top 10 Fitness Trends for 2013 WebMD says, “Forget fancy fitness fads. Your body is the only equipment you need for one of the hottest fitness trends: body-weight workouts.”

Bonus (Here is your first FREEBIE for the year!): Health Trends 2013: What to Expect  No one can know exactly what the year 2013 will bring. However, those who work in and monitor the health and fitness industry can make some good guesses.  Colorful slide show accompanies the information.

Love Deeply:

@RajSetty has a great post called, Metrics that Matter Most for 2013 with a FREE pdf download that will cause you to think about things like lifetime relationships, memorable moments that you create for others and people who miss you.

Learn Continuously:

13 Sets of Predictions for 2013 by @wallybock  There are lists of blogs with predictions for the whole world, for a single company, and for a lot in between. Enjoy the predictions and make 2013 a great year of learning.

Lead Courageously:

Leave a Legacy:

Here are some great people to follow this year who are doing majorly awesome stuff. They are friends whose blogs I always read.  I predict that if you read these in 2013, all your wildest dreams will come true! OK, maybe not, but you will learn a ton about how to become a better leader that others will want to follow.

      Thanks Andrea. Yes, I also like Leadership Freak. Dan’s posts are packed and insightful. I have not read much of Mark Miller but heard him speak on The Nines a couple years ago. Thanks for the reminder and suggestion.
